take exit for connecticut ave (south) to chevy chase. drive about three miles down connecticut ave. cross military road, nebraska ave and porter st. turn left on macomb st. the embassy residence is at the end macomb st. for parking, proceed further on connecticut ave and turn left into national zoo parking.

from dupont circle, take connecticut ave (north). drive approximately two miles. pass washington hilton, taft bridge, national zoo. make a right at macomb st. the embassy residence is at the end of macomb st. for parking, turn right into the national zoo on connecticut ave.

parking:
arrangements for free car parking have been made at the national zoo on connecticut ave. Although the residence is within walking distance, shuttle vans will be available to take guests from the parking lot and back.
tip: if you have more than one person in the car, drop off your passengers and head to the parking lot.
