It's
10 days to Mother's Day, which means if you haven't gotten
your mother a gift yet, you still have time to do so.
We
will look at various options for high-tech gifts you can get
your mother this year.

SUGGESTION
ONE: If you have less than a $100 to spend, you might want to
consider the new Polaroid Spectra 1200FF. In the age of digital
everything, it may seem quaint to recommend an instant-film
camera, but this is not your granny's Polaroid. The camera has
been redesigned from the old boxy look and at least one person
who saw me carrying it around thought it was the a tricorder
from Star Trek -- and the photos it takes are better, too.
$129:
Palm m100

SUGGESTION
TWO: If you have been thinking about getting your mother into
the world of Palm computers, here's your chance. The first model
I have here is the Palm m100, which is the basic model aimed
at beginners -- but it works quite nicely for most people. It's
$129 and I recommend it for those on a tight budget. In fact,
I bought my mother this last year for her birthday.
SUGGESTION
THREE: If you have a larger budget and want to get her something
really jazzy in a Palm, for about $450, you can get the new
color m505. It has more memory and advanced features.
