Sree's Thoughts on Political Web Sites
Thursday, Oct 24, 2002

Looking for help deciding who to vote for this Election Day? Let's turn to the Web for help.

ABC-7's Ask the Candidate: This site allows you to connect with your politicians, just in time for the elections. Among the useful things you can do here:

  • See which candidates are running in your district.
  • E-mail the candidates via e-mail.
  • Visiting the candidates' Web sites.

PoliticsNY.com: This site, which was launched in Dec. 2001, has become a must-read for anyone interested in the political goings-on in the Empire State. It's a good way to keep up with the latest news as well as the adventures of politicians.

PoliticsNJ.com: A sister site of PoliticsNY.com

Politics1.com: This site calls itself the "the most comprehensive online guide to American politics" and pretty much lives up to its name. Check out the pages for all around the tri-state area:
Politics1.com/ny.htm
Politics1.com/nj.htm
Politics1.com/ct.htm
