Facilities needed:
Ideally,
a PC or Mac with a Web browser, an Internet connection and projection
(ie, LCD projector onto a white screen or a white wall). Theater-style
seating for the students works well, as does gathering everyone around
a conference table and sticking me and the projector at one end. For the
workshop, we do NOT need everyone to have a computer. Just me - the students
takes notes as they listen to me. If you want to have a special hands-on
session, then you need to arrange for several computers and more time.
Handouts:
I typically need about 25% more than the number of people who attend (they
usually want to take extra copies for colleagues, friends, family, etc
-- you can never have too many).
Please prepare a package of
handouts of the following items, in the order below (ie, click on each
link and print each one):
Put all the printouts together into one package and then copy and staple together... One package per person -- photocopied
2-sided and stapled -- please, making for a multi-sheet handout.
OPTIONAL: If you wish to get feedback please hand this out- workshop
evaluation
Many thanks for your help.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
